MedRAP TEAM VISIT KAZUNGULA TO SHARE FINDINGS ON THE AVAILABILITY, AFFORDABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH COMMODITIES 14 November, 2023 By Brian Kazungula, Southern Province - The MedRAP team, dedicated to promoting healthcare affordability, availability, and combatting stockouts in Zambia, is taking the initiative to share their latest study findings and recommendations on teenage pregnancy cases in the district. Kazungula District, located in the Southern Province, has come under the spotlight due to its disturbingly high teenage pregnancy rate of over 34%. In an effort to tackle this pressing issue, the MedRAP team engaged in discussions regarding adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) issues with key stakeholders in the district, including the office of Council Chairperson, the District Education Board Secretary, and the District Health Office.
